I have compiled a listing at http://rahejaresidency.tripod.com. This listing contains women who are service providers within Raheja. If this listing is published on paper and distributed it will prove useful to the residents.
Options:
1) Leave a laminated copy at all the block securities and the club house. Cost can be shared by a couple of volunteers.(Done).
2) Take 800 copies and distribute it to the residents. Cost needs to be shared between all the service providers. Sheela's (H block) initial estimate is Rs.1600, roughly 2Rs a sheet.
Issues:
How often should this listing be updated?
How do we work out the costing each time?
Can we get sponsors for this? (for eg., Leo packers)
Should we charge the residents a nominal amount?

Charge residents a nominal amount????
Charge the people who want to publish it. That's it.
NO resident will pay even Re.1 to get it.
It's like charging me to get the "Visit the Tirupur knitwear sale" flyers that I get with my newspaper.
