Heated swimming pool....

We need to have a solar-powered heated swimming pool in Raheja.(Modified Swati's idea a little bit). The swimming pool will be utilised more during the winter as well.

What??

Do you have any idea what the volume of water is there in the swimming pool?

Dimensions (conservative):
12x4x1.5 metres
= 1200x400x150 cm
= 7x10^7 cc
= 7x10^4 litres
= 7x10^3 buckets
= 7,000 buckets

Do some calculations: A single household solar heater can cater to one family's requirement, approximately 10 bucketfuls of hot water (say 100 bucketfuls of VERY luke-warm water). It costs 30,000, and with government subsidy, you may be able to get it at 15,000.

You need 70 of those to heat up our swimming pool. 10,50,000. Conservative.
